How long does it take?

Our construction period is 90 to 120 days depending on the size of the home and the time of year. Our homes are completely site built by local craftsmen.

We have our own floor plan, will you work with it?

Yes. We are happy to work with your floor plan and to assist you in making modifications. Design is one of our competitive advantages.

Can I do some of the work myself?

You sure can. Several of our buyers have done some of the work on their home themselves. Many financing programs allow for this "sweat equity."

Can we change items on your specifications or floor plans?

Certainly! One of the great things about building a new home is getting it the way you want. Our specifications are only a starting point so that we are speaking the same language. Everything can be modified to suit your own needs.

Will you help us find land?

Yes, We offer one-stop shopping. We will assist you with financing, aid in designing your floor plan and help you find a home site. We carry a large selection of building lots in the Merrimack County area and also have access to many many more through the statewide Multiple Listing Service.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Our program prohibits hidden costs. Once you sign an agreement the only thing that may increase your costs are exceeding our allowances or making changes during construction. We never pass through any cost overruns and we assume all the risks for locating the foundation, the septic system, and drilling the well.

How does this work with financing?

Financing a new home is simple. You can do it one of two ways. First, you can finance a new home just like a resale home. We will pay for the construction and when the home is done you go to a closing and we hand over the keys, just like a resale home.

Or second, if you want to save a bit of money and be more involved, you can finance the construction loan through one of our participating lenders. Typically this requires more time investment on your part, but can save you money.
